Christopher Nova Smith is a biologist/ photographer specializing in landscape, nature and travel photography. He has always worked in the Natural Environment. As one of the top photographers in Hawai’i, he has traveled across America working with conservation groups, activist, and non-profits. Photography has always had a strong presence and, following a change of direction in 2012, photography has assumed ever-greater importance. The unifying concept behind his images is the natural spirit of place.
